A Security Program for the Retail Environment

Todays Security Program is made up of many parts. This overview will discuss the evolution of a Security Program, the importance of a cybersecurity framework and a detailed look at the security requirements and controls used to support privacy, compliance, and the security of the retail environment.

Mike Theis- Director of Information Security at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits

Mike has over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology. He has held positions as IT Manager and Systems Administrator with a number of companies including Lockheed Martin and ZOM, Inc. For the last 9 years Mike has been on the ABC Fine Wine & Spirits Security Team and currently holds the position of Director of Information Security. Mike received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN as well as a Computer and Technology degree from Orange Technical College, Orlando, FL. He holds multiple IT certifications including PCI Internal Security Assessor and Certified Information Security Manager.
