We are hosting our first high school internship fair on Tuesday, April 4th at most likely the Sapphire Falls Resort. We are hoping to get a large turnout from SIMCFL. we will have 1000 students and need to get 300 business/industry representatives (hence, really need your support).
This will be for summer internships from 2-10 weeks, depending on the employer's need. Companies would let us know how many students that they want with the required skills, and we would identify the corresponding students. You would interview 'x' number of students and offer the qualified candidate(s) or not offer if you are not satisfied.
Event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center. An International Creative Problem-Solving Program Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and world level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and about 25 other countries participate in the program.
