BEFORE WE TALK ABOUT AI

AI is astonishingly good at things we once thought required human intelligence. But before we decide what that means for our organizations, our professions, and our jobs, we should ask some more basic questions. What do we mean by intelligence? What does it mean to simulate it? Is prediction intelligence? And what has AI actually changed? This presentation explores the good, the bad, and the ugly of AI while stepping back from the hype to ask a deceptively simple question: What has AI actually changed?

GUEST SPEAKER: STEVE BLACK

Steve Black, a Professor of Law at Texas Tech University, has taught at seven law schools and two business schools, and he focuses on cybersecurity, technology, privacy, money, and the law. He began coding at age 12, works with students on entrepreneurship and technology, and is teaching himself to play the ukulele. He teaches online courses for CISOs, attorneys, and executives through the LAVA Institute.
